Q: How do I backup my Metrix database files?
A: During installation, Metrix creates a folder called 'data' inside the Metrix installation folder. When Metrix is first run it creates database files within this folder. To backup these database files follow these steps: 1. Ensure Metrix is not running. 2. In Windows Explorer, navigate to the 'data' folder inside the Metrix installation folder (as pictured below). 3. Copy the database files found there to another folder. It is a good idea to name the backup folder something like 'Metrix Database Backup - June 23, 2005'.
