Q: What press data does Metrix require?

Product: Metrix
Version: 1.5, 1.6, 1.7
Operating System: Windows XP or Windows 2000
Last Updated: December 23, 2005

A: Most of the press data Metrix requires to calculate layouts is related to the dimensional parameters of the press - the maximum and minimum sheet sizes it can run, plus the required gripper margin, etc. Of course each press also needs an identifying name. There are some optional fields as well that if supplied just enable Metrix to more fully populate the JDF files it exports.

The list below gives a brief explanation of each field. Required fields are marked with an asterisk ("*").
