This document explains the information Lithotechnics, Inc. and Lithotechnics Pty Ltd (LithoTechnics) may collect through our Web site at www.lithotechnics.com or through your use of any LithoTechnics software, including use of a security dongle (collectively the “Services”), and how that information is used and shared. When you and your company use our software or visit our Web site, your company is accepting the terms and conditions described in this Privacy Policy and any changes made hereto.

USE AND DISCLOSURE OF INFORMATION OBTAINED BY LITHOTECHNICS


When your company uses any of the Services, we may collect the following types of information:

Personal And Entity Information You Knowingly Choose To Disclose

When your company registers or signs up for any of the Services, we may ask that you provide us with certain personal or company information, such as your name or company name, email address, phone number and any other personal or preference information that you provide to us.

Information Collected By Us As You Interact With The Services

  • Visiting our Web site: When your company visits our Web site, we may collect personal information, if you choose to give it, and anonymous information regarding your use of LithoTechnics’ website. By providing personal information to us you are consenting to its use in accordance with our privacy policy.
  • Using our Software: When you use our Software, the Software may periodically attempt to send information to LithoTechnics or its affiliates over the Internet. The information may include the version of the Software, the serial number of the security dongle, the version of the operating system the Software is running on, the version of Java used by the Software, the database connection strings, and which algorithms and features of the Software are being used.

Use and Sharing of Collected Information

We limit the sharing of information with others. We will not share any information we collect with others for any reason unless you have expressly consented to such sharing except:

  • we may share the collected information with other LithoTechnics affiliates but not outside third parties.
  • we may use the information we collect to automatically inform users when a new version of the Software becomes available, to provide better technical support services to customers, and to understand how people use the software so future development efforts can be focused on features being used by customers.
  • we may use and/or share the information we collect about your company as permitted or required by law.

Changing or Removing Information

It is important that the information we maintain about you and your company is accurate and complete. Terms of Use, Notices and Revisions

If your company chooses to use any of our Services, your company’s use of the Services and any dispute over privacy is subject to this Privacy Policy, including limitations on damages, arbitration of and application of law of the state of Washington and the End User License Agreement under which this Privacy Policy would apply. We reserve the right to change our Privacy Policy at any time. Non-material changes and clarifications will take effect immediately, and material changes will take effect within 10 days of their posting on this site. If we make changes, we will post them and will indicate at the top of this page the policy’s effective date. We therefore encourage you to refer to this policy on an ongoing basis so that your company understands our current privacy policy. Unless stated otherwise, our current Privacy Policy applies to all information that we have about you and your company’s account.


Security and Storage of Information

We maintain physical, electronic and procedural safeguards to protect the information we collect about your company in a manner customary for our industry. Access to such information is restricted to individuals who need it in order to provide the Services to your company. Employees who violate these confidentiality requirements are subject to our disciplinary process. Where third parties provide support services, we require them to conform to our privacy standards. LithoTechnics will endeavor to keep your personal information secure and prevent unauthorized disclosure. However, LithoTechnics cannot promise that your personal information will not be accessed by an unauthorized person (e.g. a hacker) or that unauthorized disclosures will not occur. If LithoTechnics provides you with any passwords or other security devices then it is important that you keep these secret and confidential and do not allow them to be used by any other person. You should notify LithoTechnics immediately if the security of these devices is breached to prevent the unauthorized disclosure of your personal information. We will store this information in a commercially reasonable secure environment.
